José Luiz Tejon Megido

Jose Luiz Tejon Megido was born in Santos, Sao Paulo (1952). An adopted child, he started his studies at a school for special children at a public hospital in Santos (Santa Casa de Santos). He lived about 13 years semiconfined in public hospitals.

He finished high school at Canada High School , in Santos, graduated in Journalism and Advertisement from Casper Libero Foundation, in Sao Paulo.

He started his development from music, as a composer, and soon got the ‘State Governor’ award: best song for theater, in the early 70s. In the 80s, he produced the rewarded infantile show Brother Grimm, at the Maria de la Costa Theater, in Sao Paulo.

Master in Arts and Culture from Mackenzie University, doctorating in Science of Education, from UDE – Universidade de La Empresa – Mercosul, Uruguay.

Administrator, phocusing on Marketing, with major overseas: Pace University – New York; Harvard and MIT – USA; and Leadership at Insead, France.

His career as an Executive started as a salesperson at SCT (later Equifax); a Publicist at Marconi Radio, through CIEE. In the marketing area he was a Trainee at LTB-Brazilian Telephone Directory; Marketing Manager in the savings accounts area – Finadisa. At the “Agribusiness”, his experience started as a creation director at an advertisement agency, being later hired as an Executive at Jacto S.A., in Pompeia, Sao Paulo countryside. At this time, he founded ABMRA – Brazilian Association of Rural and Agribusiness Marketing, an entity that he presided later. He was a Corporative Marketing Director of AGROCERES S.A., a Director of Agroceres Ross and of NORAGRO, companies of the Agroceres Group in the animal genetics and agricultural defenders area. For 8 years, he directed the area of Education and Courses of ABA – Brazilian Association of Advertisers. A professional rewarded with the TOP of Marketing by ADVB and other entities of the publicist area.

In l990, he took over as an Executive of the OESP Midia, an organization of “O Estado de Sao Paulo” group, where he became a General Director and a company statutory in a “turn around” program from 2002 onwards, where he started having a seat at the Executive council of the group. In 2007 he started the TCA International on partnership with Panzarini Studio – Rome-Italy, phocusing on learning tour, speech, consultancy, mentoring, education “in company” and workshop programs.

He has written as an author and as a co-author 27 books, including the best sellers : “O vôo do Cisne” (The Flight of the Swan) and “A grande virada” (The Great Turn Over), 50 gold rules to overcome difficult situations. An international lecturer, he already has 2 of his books published and launched abroad. Tejon is considered one of the best experts at sales management; at marketing for agribusiness; and at the areas of human leadership, motivation and overcoming.

He had an important participation in the work of the Americans Patrick Sweeney and Herb Greenberg: “Succeed on your own terms”, launched all over the world, in which his definition of success was considered “the most embracing and involving, synthetizing all others” among the tens of celebrities interviewed in the book.

A member of the effective council of ABMRA (Brazilian Association of Rural Marketing and Agribusiness). Vice-President Director of Communication of CCS – Scientific Council for the Sustainable Agriculture. A member of the Management Council of Fertion and AuroraSerios.

He writes for many means of communication, such as: www.exame.com.br/rede de blogs; he is a columnist of Estadão Net ESPN: of Transamérica Radio Net; Feed & Food Magazine; Professionals and Businesses Magazine, among others. He was interviewed twice on Jô Soares program, participating in two parts of the program in a row. He is constantly present in different interviews on the internet, radio and television.

Also a post-graduation professor at FGV-SP, at ANAMACO University; an Academic coordinator of post-graduation at ESPM – SP and he develops academic coordination for post- graduation programs “in company”.

He is a member of the “Dinossauros Rock Band”, a classical rock band, with a monthly presentation at the Dinossauros Bar (www.dinossaurosrockbar.com.br).

At this moment, he is preparing his new book, based on reflections in the Megiddo Valley (Armagedon), in Israel, whose title will be “O vôo dos invencíveis – o código de todas as superações (The flight of the invencible – the code of all the overcomings)-which is the theme of his next lecture.

Considered a “Top of mind” lecturer of Brasil by Estadão RH Prize – 2011, of “ O Estado de São Paulo” newspaper.
